The International Journal of Contemporary Psychiatry is a peer-reviewed journal, issued by the Psychiatry Department of Kasr Al Ainy, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, on a bi-annual basis.
The Journal follows a double-blind peer review policy.
The journal is published in an online and print version.
All articles published in the journal are fully open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication.
Publication Fee is free of charge.

The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright, and to retain publishing rights but with some restrictions.
Plagiarism:
The journal has a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using professional plagiarism-checking software. Submitted manuscripts with an unacceptable similarity index resulting from plagiarism are rejected immediately.
